What is SportsCon?
SportsCon is an interactive sports convention featuring a series of events, exhibits, activities, and parties. At SportsCon, you can throw around the pigskin with NFL players, shoot hoops with NBA stars, get batting lessons from MLB legends and learn your way around the ring with UFC fighters. Think Comic-Con meets Disney World, but make it sports.
Where is SportsCon taking place?
SportsCon will take place in the Dallas Convention center in Dallas, TX.
The Official VIP Kick-Off Party will be held at the Statler Hotel in downtown Dallas.

What is the difference between the General Admission Pass and the VIP Pass?
The General Admission Pass gives you access to all SportsCon events that are not designated as VIP Exclusive. The VIP Pass gives you the same access as the GA Pass plus access to VIP Exclusive events, priority entry and seating, exclusive player interaction, the VIP Lounge and more.
How old do I have to be to attend SportsCon?
People of all ages are welcome to register and attend. However, fans under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times during the convention. Everyone aged 5 and older is required to purchase a full registration. Children under 5 are free with accompanying adult registration.
Due to the nature of our off-site VIP parties, those events will be restricted to those who are 21 and up.
Will my registration be mailed to me?
No. You will pick up your badge at the registration desk when you first check into SportsCon at thew Dallas Convention Center, or at check-in for the VIP Kick-Off Party if you are a VIP Pass holder.
VIP Pass holders who are not attending the VIP Kick-Off Party on Friday, July 12 will be able to pick up their badges upon check-in at SportsCon beginning at 9:00 am on Saturday, July 13.
What do I need to pick up my registration?
You will need either your confirmation email OR a government-issued ID. Anybody who has used our military discount promo code must present their military I.D. as well.
What can and can’t I bring to the convention?
Here is a list of items you will not be allowed to bring into the convention:
Weapons of any kind (firearms, pocket knives, etc.)
Professional video equipment and/or cameras
Outside food and beverages
Drones (or other flying objects)
Any materials constituting unauthorized promotion
Any noise-making devices
Tobacco or tobacco-related products may be brought in, but may not be used at any time inside the convention. This includes any form of electronic cigarettes.
While bags, purses, and backpacks are welcome, they will be searched upon entry to the convention.
SportsCon staff and venue security reserve the right to deem any item as dangerous, disruptive, or inappropriate, and may refuse entry to the convention at our discretion. If you have questions about a specific item, please email us at
How will autograph and photograph sessions work?
SportsCon exists to foster interaction between sports fans and their favorite athletes. For this reason, SportsCon IS NOT AN AUTOGRAPH SHOW and we will not be providing any appearance schedules. There will be countless opportunities throughout the convention for autographs and photographs with the players and personalities. Not all players will have a designated autograph and/or photography session.
Outside merchandise may be signed at the athletes’ discretion. Items to be autographed may also be provided by SportsCon or available for purchase from our partners. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee any photographs or autographs from specific attending athletes or personalities. You are allowed to bring in two items to get signed. Anything more you will not be allowed in until you have two or less.
Please be respectful and only ask for autographs during designated times. Photograph sessions, Q&A's, SportsCon field activities, and other events not specifically stated as autograph sessions are not appropriate times. Attendees who are consistently disrespectful to players or other celebrity guests will be asked to leave the convention.
Do you offer a military/first responder discount?
Yes, we do! All military personnel and first responders may use the promo code "HEROES" to receive 50% off their registration. A valid ID, badge, or other proof of service will be required to pick up a registration using the HEROES promo code.
What is your refund policy?
All sales are final and no refunds will be issued. Passes can either be transferred or rolled over to next year's event.
